When did you Fall in Love with Running?
Before I was a Big 12 collegiate athlete, before the medals and the training schedules, I was just a heartbroken teen in St. Charles, Missouri... running barefoot out of frustration. What started as a coping mechanism turned into a lifelong love affair with running—one that’s seen me through college, motherhood, heartbreak, and healing. In this post, I trace my journey from sprinting for trophies to running for joy—and why, nearly 40 years later, I’m still lacing up.
